Parental Contribution

Parental Contribution

Successful communication between parents and Kingdom kids childcare (KKC) is vitally important because it also has an effect on your child’s development.

KKC encourage a culture of co-operation and continuous communication exchange between childcarer and parent through various means.

KKC use emails to make any changes clear and ask parents to email any new things to be aware of, differences in routines, addresses or any important dates to ensure things are not missed and are well documented. This helps to ensure organisation, consistency and accountability.

Online Learning Journals

KKC use Baby’s Days to track children’s development aged 0 months – 5 years which follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) structure.
Parents are given logins and passwords to be able to access their child’s/children’s online learning journals.

Parents also contribute to their children’s learning and development by adding in photos, videos, commenting on photos/observations uploaded to the online learning journals which are all then linked to development matters/EYFS structure.

Through this, parents are able to see consistent progression at KKC and through assessments meet any gaps in learning.

KKC produce a bi/tri annual newsletter which informs all parents about general information, topics being covered with the children to events that are happening.
